I specialize in modeling the ecology and biogeochemistry of non-vascular vegetation, such as mosses, using a process-based model. My research focuses on understanding the global biodiversity pattern of non-vascular vegetation, nitrogen fixation in cyanobacteria-moss associations, and their contribution to global nitrogen cycling. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the responses of non-vascular vegetation to climate change.
