The research in our group is focused on understanding and tailoring the structure and properties of electrochemical interfaces and electrocatalyst materials for applications in energy and sustainability. Our research combines electrochemical methods with in situ/operando spectroscopic and microscopic characterisation techniques. The main research areas in our group aim to investigate:

i) novel catalyst materials for renewable energy conversion and storage,

ii) electrochemical conversion of greenhouse gases into green fuels and chemicals,

iii) sustainable electrosynthesis of value-added chemicals,

iv) atomic-scale tailored electrochemical interfaces,

v) surface nanostructuring and electrodeposition of bi- and multimetallic nanomaterials.
