Laura Vang Rasmussen

Associate Professor - Promotion Programme

My research is centered on land use changes, their human and environmental drivers, and the outcomes of these land use changes. I have pursued this research field in a number of different contexts and countries, including Burkina Faso, Mali, Mozambique, South Africa, Laos, and Brazil. I received my Ph.D. in 2013 from the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen and since then have held positions at the University of Michigan and University of British Columbia.
