New forum for membrane filtration
38 participants from food industry and research institutions participated in the first meeting of a new forum for membrane filtration in food processing.
Lilia Ahrné, professor in Ingredient and Dairy Technology at the University of Copenhagen, is among the organizers of a new “Forum for membrane filtration in food processing”. The purpose of the forum is to increase the exploitation of membrane filtration in the industry e.g. by sharing knowledge.
Membrane filtration is a separation process and a widely used technology in the food production industry.
The founding meeting took place 20 September 2018. Membership fee is 1000-1500 Euro yearly and two annual meetings are expected.
